An Introduction to Urine Marking

Urine marking or marking as it is commonly known is when a dog marks an item or thing with urine. Urine marking is a normal, instinctive dog behavior, mostly in males but also sometimes in females. There are times where you won’t notice a dog has marked in your house.

There are reasons your dog maybe urine marking in your house. These reasons can range from other animals present in the home, or being in an unfamiliar surrounding to simply being territorial. At times the reason maybe health related and a veterinarian might be needed.
