Queen Charlotte Sounds,
This is a genuine waterfront bach in a protected bay with great views and own private beach, jetty and moorings. The bach is positioned only 20 metres back from the beach. The location is in Dryden Bay towards the outer Queen Charlotte Sounds near to the entrance to Endeavour Inlet. Our location features glow worms, wekas, and good fishing!
There is a 44 metre jetty, two moorings (2 and 3 tonne moorings), and dinghy/kayak and life jackets available for your use.
It is an ideal environment to wind-down and relax, not to be bothered by the typical distractions in an urban environment. It is in a remote area only accessible by boat. There are no council services; it is off the electricity grid, town water supply, and telephone network.
The bach operates as an eco-bach, having solar power, gas lighting and water heating, wood burner, and composting toilet.
To get there the Endeavour Express or Cougar water taxis, who go by the bay daily, can drop you off directly at the bach jetty, or you can take your own boat.
