She may not have a man in her life, but new mother Charlize Theron has revealed she feels plenty of male support from an unlikely quarter.
The star told Ellen DeGeneres that her dogs Berkley and The Pitt are 'helping' her raise her newly adopted son Jackson.
'People keep saying, "Oh you’re a single mum" and I’m like, actually I’m not I got two boys (her dogs) helping me out. It’s incredible,' the 36-year-old Oscar winner said.
'From the moment this baby came into our home, those two dogs have never been more in love. It’s the most beautiful thing I’ve ever witnessed.'
The terrier
mutt and pit bull, which Charlize recently rescued, even utter 'sympathy howls'
whenever little Jackson cries.

'The Pitt woke up with me for every feed, for every change,' Theron told Ellen, 'and whenever the baby would cry, The Pitt would start crying.'
The South African actress brought her African-American baby home two months ago at just nine days old, but the adoption process took her two entire years.
'My mum said the most beautiful thing. I’m going to cry. She said, "It took me nine months to fall in love with you were growing in my stomach." She’s like, "It took you two years to fall in love with this little baby,"' the 5'10" star recalled.
'It really took two years of just waiting and then one day it’s finally there. It just feels exactly how it’s supposed to feel. I don’t know how to describe it. It just feels right.'
The talk show host then gave the amused A-list actress a special present for Jackson -- a tiny Prometheus spacesuit complete with helmet and the film's June 8 release date emblazoned in the back.
